Associate Therapist (She/Her)
My name is Ashley Dilworth and I’m an Associate Counselor Intern with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. First, I’d like to thank you for taking the time to learn about me and consider therapy. Life can be challenging at times and it’s my goal to offer you a safe space to explore what’s on your mind. I help people define their version of wellness and work together to create goals that align.
As a certified yoga instructor and therapist, I believe in the power of our thoughts. This is what drew me to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It’s a fancy term that explores the connection between one’s thoughts and their actions. While working together we can lean into more mindfulness approaches depending on your comfort level. This can include meditation, visual exercises, and mindfulness.
Ultimately, I know that there are a lot of pressures on us as people and it’s something that an iced coffee can’t always fix. It is my intent to help you explore the challenges you may be facing and help you to find whatever it is you’re looking for.
When I’m not working the chances are my nose is stuffed in a book somewhere. I have loved reading since a child and it has only gotten worse as an adult!
