    (She/Her)

Hi! I’m Ellisha! I enjoy working with diverse populations and I have served children, adolescents, teens and young adults. My experience includes over 5+ years working with children, teens and young adults. I have worked in the behavior health field, higher education, nonprofits and private practice. Time spent together in sessions should be beneficial, I strive to ensure that the children, adolescents, teens and young adults that I work with are comfortable, feel heard and know that they are supported. I will be here to motivate and support clients through their journeys. Your experiences are unique to you and I look forward to working with you in a judgment-free and therapeutic way that allows you to express yourself your thoughts, behaviors, emotions and feelings.

I work to build a safe space for children, adolescents, teens and young adults because it can be hard to feel heard when considering your personal experiences and daily life. Whether it’s anxiety, life adjustments, low self esteem, low confidence, friendship complications, self care, job/career transition or stress, we will work together to cope and get through those circumstances. I look forward to utilizing a CBT approach with a person centered focus because I believe that everyone should be treated as a person, be involved in treatment and given the opportunity to collaborate during our therapeutic relationship.

I look forward to helping all of my clients feel motivated to achieve their goals and dreams regardless of what may get in their way. Life can be complicated and at times you may feel defeated but with beneficial techniques and coping skills, we can get through it together in a healthy and useful way. I want my clients to know that I will support them and nudge them to have a different perspective of life. I want clients to understand and remember that our thoughts,

behaviors and emotions are connected and they all impact each other. Health, happiness and hope are a few aspects that can help us change our life, thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

In my spare time I enjoy walking, working out, traveling, going to restaurants, shopping, free writing, journaling, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, self care days, learning about psychology and reading articles and research. I truly enjoy helping and motivating others to achieve their goals, cope with life circumstances and finding meaning in their life.

I want to leave you with a quote that keeps me motivated and pushing everyday. “I am capable of achieving my dreams, no matter how great they seem”. This quote has stuck with me since I was in high school and everyday it reminds me why I keep pushing towards the goals and dreams that I have set for my life. I hope this quote sticks with you too.

May we work together soon and start a journey towards health, happiness and hope!

    My therapeutic approaches are:

Cognitive behavior therapy, person centered therapy
