Pre-doctoral Intern
(she/her)
I help people who long to feel understood, want to manage anxiety and depression, and wish they could thrive socially and personally, but feel suffocated by overwhelming stress, adjustment difficulties, and self-doubt that hold them back from reaching their potential. Most of my clients have been adults looking to build their confidence and resilience, and together we’ve focused on helping them feel more balanced, self-assured, and capable in their daily lives. What often gets in their way are the pressures in their life, life transitions, and the weight of unresolved mental health concerns, making it hard for them to move forward without support
I work alongside my clients to help them build coping skills that fit their lives, challenge the patterns of negative self-talk that hold them back, and develop genuine self-compassion. I strive to create a space where they feel safe exploring what matters to them so they can manage stress and anxiety with more confidence and step actively toward their goals. In our sessions, I encourage clients to recognize their unique strengths, experiment with new ways to handle obstacles, and make choices that reflect who they truly are. My hope is that, together, we create real momentum towards a greater sense of balance, resilience, and readiness to handle whatever life throws their way.
I love watching commentary on movies and TV shows, as I find it fascinating to explore different perspectives on entertainment. Additionally, I have a keen interest in celebrity entertainment, which keeps me engaged with pop culture. Crocheting is one of my creative hobbies that I enjoy during my downtime. I am also an avid reader and actively participate in a book club, which allows me to connect with others and explore diverse literary genres. I also love trying new things, as I believe it helps me grow personally and enrich my experiences outside of my academic and professional life.
I know from working closely with students and adults facing all kinds of life stress, anxiety, and transitions that it is possible to move forward, even when things feel overwhelming. If you need to hear it today, you are not alone, and there is nothing wrong with needing help or taking time to care for yourself. A little bit of self-compassion can be the first step toward real change.
I believe that authentic self-compassion and the courage to ask for support will change the world. That’s why I hope you take the step to reach out and prioritize your own growth and well-being today. If you’re ready to start your journey, I invite you to schedule an intake. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on the path to a more resilient and fulfilled life.
