My name is Abigail Hirte-Uhlorn, I’m a Nationally Certified Counselor with a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rosemont College. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington State University. I am an active member of the American Counseling Association.

I have experience working with Children, Adolescents and Teenagers and their families with various diagnoses and experiences including trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I utilize primarily Solution Focused CBT to help clients work through daily concerns and learn to identify solutions for common challenges and stressors. I believe in adapting approaches to best fit the needs of the individual I’m working with and pull from Humanistic, Narrative, and Person-Centered Theories. It is my opinion that the client is the best authority on their needs and should be involved in the process.

With my experience and education, I seek to provide counseling services that support client growth and healing through all of life’s challenges. I’m proud of my client’s willingness to open up and the strength it takes to start the journey of therapy. I know from my own path to wellness, that the journey of life is hard and full of setbacks. I strive to help clients overcome these challenges and build resilience and practical skills. I hope to schedule an intake appointment with you soon.
