    Associate Level Clinician (She/Her)

My name is Sarah Lewis and I am an Associate Level Clinician working toward LPC licensure. I earned my Master of Science in Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I have experience working with a variety of ages and populations who have struggled with depression, anxiety, life adjustments, grief/loss, trauma, self-esteem issues, and stress management. Prior to earning my master’s degree, I gained experience working with adolescents in correctional and alternative school-based settings. Outside of my clinical work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing bass, video games, reading, and watching true crime documentaries.

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek”.

Change is an inevitable part of life that can feel overwhelming, scary, and come with challenges.  I strive to guide and support my clients in finding the tools and supports that will help them through seasons of change and challenge. I believe in having a person-centered approach to therapy where the client and therapist work collaboratively in the therapeutic process to achieve the clients goals. It is essential for me to create a safe, authentic, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment for my clients so they can feel empowered and motivated in their unique journey of healing and self-growth. I also draw from cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, solution focused, and trauma informed approaches to therapy because an integrative lens is important to meet the unique needs of each client.

If you feel we would be a good fit, I would encourage you to reach out and schedule with me. I look forward to meeting and working together with you toward your goals for change, growth, and healing!
