    M.A.  Pre-Doctoral Intern
    (she/her)

I help people who yearn to freely express their feelings and identity, but feel held back by fears of being judged, misunderstood, or ridiculed.

I support them in understanding their experiences and feelings so that they can navigate their emotional experiences and interpersonal relationships. My clients usually want to identify the causes and solutions to their problems but feel stuck in a cycle that gets in their way. I help clients understand their emotions, behaviors, and reactions, while identifying patterns that may be maintaining or contributing to their problems. With this work, clients can be able to better navigate difficult experiences and feelings, reconstruct negative thinking patterns, and develop coping strategies.

I am a first-generation Jamaican-American born and raised in New Jersey. I was a college athlete, and currently still enjoy staying active through weightlifting and doing yoga. I also enjoy drawing, brain puzzles like sudoku, and baking in my free time.

I know from 3 years working with children and families, that having an openness to understanding the experiences and feelings of all individuals is crucial in fostering positive change and self-esteem.

I believe individuality and self-love will change the world. That’s why I hope you will take the first steps today.

    My therapeutic approaches are:

    • CBT
    • Psychodynamic
    • ACT
