Hello, my name is Monique Fraser, and I am an associate licensed mental health counselor who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve emotional well-being. I completed my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in February 2026. During my field experience, I had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals with varying backgrounds, experiences, and mental health needs. My experience includes supporting individuals who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, emotional and behavioral challenges, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, and challenges associated with life transitions. I understand that every individual’s journey is unique, and I strive to provide personalized support that recognizes each client’s strengths, experiences, and goals.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly and authentically without fear of judgment. I want every individual I work with to feel seen, heard, valued, and understood. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, compassion, and mutual respect is essential to the healing process. I strive to support clients as they navigate emotional difficulties, strengthen their self-esteem, improve emotional regulation, develop effective coping strategies, and build healthier relationships. Whether working through personal struggles, behavioral concerns, or significant life changes, I aim to empower clients to recognize their inner strengths and discover their capacity for growth and healing. I believe that seeking counseling is a courageous step, and I am committed to walking alongside my clients with patience, understanding, and encouragement as they work toward meaningful and lasting change. My hope is to provide a supportive environment where every client feels safe enough to explore their experiences, grow at their own pace, and know they do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
My therapeutic approaches are:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy
- Play therapy
- Person centered
