Associate Clinician
(she/her/hers)
Hi folks! My name is Britney Jean and I obtained my master’s degree from Chatham University in 2026. While obtaining my degree, I completed my internship training at TRAC Services for Families in Pittsburgh. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are experiencing depression, anxiety, identity exploration, self-esteem issues, attachment issues, and grief. I help people who wish for healing but don’t know where to begin. I believe in making therapeutic spaces accessible for all and welcoming for people across different cultural backgrounds. As a child of immigrants, I believe in factoring in conversations about culture and expectations in our work together. I use a person-centered approach in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. This means that I put your needs first and make sure to take your likes and dislikes in the therapy room. When I am not with clients, I like swimming, reading fiction books, and watching movies. I support clients with a collaborative approach and non-judgmental attitude so they can be the version of themselves they have always envisioned. Taking from my own journey, starting therapy can be super nerve-wracking. I am proud of you for seeking out help because it is not easy. I encourage you to take the next step and fill out the appointment request form. I would be honored to join you on your journey of healing, growth, and acceptance.
My therapeutic approaches are:
- Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- Person-Centered
