    Licensed Professional Counselor (She/Her/Hers)

I view clients as the experts in their own lives, and my goal is to create a warm, empathetic, and supportive partnership. I support people experiencing trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. As someone raised in Uganda, South Sudan, and Kenya, moving to the United States as a young adult, I am interested in supporting people processing cross-cultural transition and bicultural identity, as well as intergenerational, communal trauma and survivor’s guilt. As a queer therapist, I enjoy supporting LGBTQ+ clients as well.

I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach drawing from narrative, IFS, art therapy and somatic perspectives, with some incorporation of ACT, CBT, and DBT skills. I believe in the power of compassion, relational health, creativity, and storytelling as a means of healing.

I also believe our experiences must be processed in the context of systemic factors and that personal wellness cannot be separated from societal wellness. Your various social identities and the way that shapes your lived experiences are important. If you believe I would be a good fit for you, please reach out and I look forward to working together!

     My therapeutic approaches are:

    • Humanistic / Person Centered
    • Narrative Therapy
    • IFS
    • Somatic
    • ACT / DBT / CBT
    • Art Therapy
